OUR STORY
Shishyashram is a handful of people trying to bring change to the hearts and minds of Christians in India. We want to empower Christians to know Jesus and share that truth with their communities.
Questions. We all have questions, and back in the early 90s we hoped to answer those questions. God had given us the opportunity to write a small booklet called "Answers" or "Jawab" in Hindi. It was printed in over 15 different languages and distributed to places all over India, so that people could find answers to most of their questions about the universe and the world we live in. We hoped that this small booklet would reach the far edges of India to bring to light the love of God.
Since 1998, we have had the privilege to release countless amounts of material to many people all across India and even the globe, stretching from Canada to Australia. We hope to give literary material to Christians to empower them to know Jesus more and share that hope and knowledge with those around them. We’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to bring God the glory and honour. We’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by size or numbers, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.

We believe that the Kingdom of God will not be built with money and material. We are aware that with 5 loaves and 2 fish Jesus had fed thousands of people. So also we believe that the spiritual hunger of millions of Indians (Mainly in the North) and Nepal can be satisfied by the hands of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. Our view of money is, we cannot serve God and Mammon. We would like to present the True Christ to those who are lost. We believe in reaching out to people and groups in North India and Nepal. We believe in distributing all our gospel resources in India freely to the needy people, deserving Christian workers and churches irrespective of their denominations.
